DARIO BROGLIO ALPINE GARDEN

Over 500 herbaceous, shrub and tree species

Because of its wonderful and unique nature, the Monte Corno area, recognised as a Site of Community Importance (S.I.C.), was chosen for the location of the Alpine Garden.

The garden, which incorporates a section of ‘rock city’ and a protective grove, contains more than 500 herbaceous, shrub and tree species typical of the Vicenza mountains, with also rare or localised species from the Plateau.

The garden invites to admiration and respect for Alpine flowers, to study their characteristics, the timing of their appearance and dissemination, and to approach the insects that visit, pollinate or feed on them.
